Notes
Semsei 3348 (Tanzania, Kilosa, 25 Oct. 1961) said to be a small tree 4.5 m tall has the setiform marginal teeth much less pronounced and is doubtfully included here. It could be a form of O. macrocalyx or possibly a hybrid but no hybrids have been reported for the genus. Kirk 132, Dar es Salaam, 1 Nov. 1869, seems to lack the marginal teeth and has been determined as O. kirkii by Robson.
