Information
Annual or perennial herb or subshrub 20–40 cm high; young branches densely pubescent. Leaves sessile, narrowly ovate, elliptic or obovate, 2–8 cm long, 0.6–3 cm wide, base attenuate, margins serrate or subentire, apex acute to acuminate, sparsely hairy, glandular, 3-veined from base. Glomerules solitary and terminal on small leafy branchlets, 11–20 mm in diameter; phyllaries 3–3.5 mm long; paleae 3.5–4 mm long. Florets white or slightly pink because of pink anthers, female florets 2 or absent, 1.5–2 mm long; disc florets 2 mm long. Achenes obovoid to ellipsoid, 1–1.5 mm long, slightly hairy and with or without glands; pappus absent.
