Shrub to 0.5–2.5 m., becoming pendent; twigs stellate-puberulous, soon glabrescent. Petiole 5–10 mm. long; lamina elliptic-oblanceolate to elliptic-obovate or obovate-circular, 4–10 cm. long, 1.5–5 cm. wide, bluntly pointed to rounded at the apex, cuneate to shortly rounded at the base, soon glabrescent; lateral nerves 2–4 pairs. Racemes terminal on very short axillary shoots (bearing 2 leaves) or at old nodes, 16–40-flowered; axis 3–7 cm. long, densely whitish hairy; pedicels 0.5–1 mm. long, extended upwards by an ovate-triangular bract of same length. Receptacle 1.5 mm. long; calyx 0.3–0.5 mm. long.
