Leaf-blade ovate in outline, up to 7.5(–10) cm. long and 6.5(–8.7) cm. wide, 3-lobed, cordate at the base; central lobes ovate, acuminate, slightly narrowed at the base; lateral lobes ovate-rhomboid, blunt or acute; pilose on both surfaces or sometimes only on the nerves beneath; petiole up to 5.5 cm. long, hairy. Flowers in pedunculate few-flowered cymes; peduncle 0.1–5 cm. long; pedicels 4–9 mm. long, hairy. Corolla 1.6–1.8 cm. long, white, yellow, pale orange or greenish-striped.
