Information
Calyx membranous, nearly obsolete. Corolla funnel-shaped, 5-angled, obscurely lobed. Stamens unequal, inserted low down in the corolla-tube; filaments filiform; anthers oblong. Disc inconspicuous. Ovary 1-celled, 2-ovuled; styles 2, simple, filiform; stigmas capitate. Fruit thrust beneath the soil by the elongating pedicel, indehiscent, 1-seeded. Seed subglobose, glabrous; cotyledons very narrow. A perennial herb, with the habit of Dichondra. Leaves small, petioled, reniform. Flowers solitary, sessile in the axils of the leaves.
