Flowers creamy white, in 25–35 mm long spikes with glabrous axis. Calyx 2–3 mm long, reddish. Corolla 3.5–4 mm long. Pods straight, 40–60 x 15–20 mm, densely pubescent with appressed hairs, ± purplish brown, transversely veined, rounded at the apex. Seeds subcircular, 12–13 mm in diam.; areole c. 10 x 6 mm.
