Description
Thomas Meehan & Son are sending RBG Kew nearly all the things they wanted and will be glad to supply any future needs. The firm's nursery would be glad to receive any seeds of trees or shrubs likely to prove hardy in the Philadelphia climate. Meehan also likes to study 'botanical' seeds as they grow, and would welcome any contribution of specimens for the herbarium of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia. The Academy used to receive duplicate specimens from Kew through the late Professor Asa Gray. However, Meehan's contributions to Kew are not dependent on such returns. Page 1 of 2.
