Tutcher has today forwarded to Thiselton-Dyer, per parcel post, a small parcel of dried specimens. He does not suppose that there will be any new species amongst them, but several of them have been collected for the first time in Hong Kong. Buddleja lindleyana and Randia densiflora he re-discovered last year in Hong Kong and, as it states in the INDEX FLORAE SINESNIS that there is no specimen of the former from Hong Kong in the RBG Kew herbarium, and only poor specimens of the latter, he has sent specimens of both. There are many plants to be found in Hong Kong, as not a year passes without something being added to the flora. Mr Ridley of Singapore Botanic Gardens was there a day or two ago and is now on his way home via Japan and America. Tutcher encloses a few seeds of Drosera indica, which he obtained from plants in the new territory the other day, as he notices it is not included in the Kew List. Annotated as received 6 May 1901.
