Drury writes that he has recently returned from India and brought with him some coloured drawings of plants done by native artists in his employ. He thought they might be of interest and has sent them to RBG Kew. They are all illustrations of the flora of either Travancore or Courtallam [Kuttalam] and form part of a collection of 123 images Drury had made with the view of illustrating a new edition of THE USEFUL PLANTS OF INDIA. There is no rush to return them, but this can be done through Drury's agents: Messrs Richardson of 23 Cornhill.
