The flower spike carries up to 15 flowers, arranged alternately in two rows, which bloom in succession (the lowermost ones first), each lasting several days. The flower is composed of six ovate-elliptic perianth segments, 40 × 20 mm, of mid pink - clearer and more violet-toned than Red Group 52, shading to pale apple green at base; stamens enclosed, pollen rich yellow; style split into three conspicuous, filiform branches as long as the perianth segments.
