Notes
G. ulugurica Gilli in Ann. Nat. Mus. Wien 74: 444, t. 5/1 (1970) is based on a sterile specimen, Gilli 321 (W, holo.) from Tanganyika, Morogoro District, Chenzema [Tchenzema]. It lacks the characteristic persistent woolly tomentum on the leaf-undersurface, the indumentum restricted to sparse golden brown hairs principally on the main nerves. Greenway 10477 another sterile specimen from Lushoto District, Mkusi, is similar. Without fertile parts the status of these plants is uncertain, but quite probably they represent no more than a minor variant.
