The Department of Botany and Plant Ecology has a rich history in the breasts of scientific research in Morocco and the Scientific Institute. In fact the herbarium includes extensive documentation, an internationally renowned Herbarium and various databases related to his vocation. The Institut Scientifique digitalizes and computerizes specimens with the "African Plant Initiative (API), whose work is underway. We currently have some 150,000 specimens and 600 types.
