The Neil A. Harriman Herbarium at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is an active research and teaching collection of more than 120,000 specimens. On 15 March 2001, OSH accessioned its 100,000th specimen: the type of Centropogon vitifolius Lammers from Peru. A decade later, the collection has grown more than 20%, and represents an important resource for botanists in the upper Midwest and beyond.
