Information
Branchlets abundantly covered with brown lenticels; leaves very variable in size and thickness, reduced in Senegal but well developed in Liberia and Sierra Leone; perianth red below, pink then grey above; filaments and style green; becoming purple. On many species including Acaciafarnesiana,A. nilotica,Alchorneacordifolia,Colanitida,Coffealiberica,CrossopteryxCroton,Drepanocarpuslunatus,Manihotglaziovii,Terminaliacatappa and Theobroma.
