Information
A shrub, glabrous in all its parts. Branchlets terete, woody. Leaves oblong, coriaceous, obtuse, cordate or cuneate at the base, 6–9 in. long; main veins arcuate, raised nearly to the edge; petiole short, clasping the branch at the base. Male flowers in an ample terminal panicle; branches many, long, spreading, slender; flowers small, in few-flowered sessile clusters spaced out on the branches. Female flowers shortly pedicelled. Female perianth coriaceous, trigonous, 6–7 lin. long.
