Information
A herb with stems 5 in. to 2 ft. high, decumbent and stoloniferous below and rooting from lower nodes; leaves often more or less purplish beneath; flowers with small, white petals, open from about 11 .30 a.m. until noon; in lowland rain-forest.
Habitat

Range
Extends to Uganda, Tanzania and Angola.

[Typical var. imperforata is prevalent in our area. var. glabrisepala (De Wild.) Brenan l.c. 285 (1960) with glabrous sepals and pedicels is not certainly recorded, but Morton A4129 from near Gbadzeme, Amedzofe, Ghana, and Morton GC 9382 from Ghana, Vane may be it. More material is needed.]
