Information
Plant 1–1 1/2 ft. high. Stems fairly stout, 3–4-leaved, not thickened at the base. Leaves lanceolate-oblong, shortly acuminate, subobtuse, 4–8 in. long, 3/4–1 3/4 in. broad. Panicle usually ample, 3–7 in. long. Bracts broadly triangular, shortly acuminate, 1/2–1 lin. long. Pedicels 3 lin. long. Flowers whitish, pale yellow, or pale pink. Dorsal sepal ovate-anceolate, acute, concave, 4 lin. long; lateral triangular-ovate, acute or acuminate. Petals spathulate-lanceolate, apiculate, 3 lin. long. Lip broadly unguiculate, trilobed, 3 1/2 lin. long; side lobes semiovate, subobtuse; front lobe broad, ovate-semiorbicular, apiculate; disc subglabrous, with a broad approximately round callus near the base. Column stout, 1 1/2 lin. long. Chin saccate, obtuse, 3 lin. long.
