Information
Herb or subshrub up to 60 cm tall, covered by 1–4 mm long glandular hairs. Leaf-blades broadly ovate to suborbicular, 9–35 x 7–42 mm, cordate at the base, with shallowly lobed or toothed margins; petiole 6–40 mm long. Flowers 1(–2) in leaf-axils, sometimes tufts of very short shoots at ground level producing cleistogamous flowers; pedicels up to c. 10–17 mm long. Calyx-lobes 5–5.5(–7) mm long, spathulate. Corolla-tube c. 9.5–11 mm long, glabrous inside; limb 5–6 mm across, white or cream with reddish markings. Capsule 5–8 mm long. Seeds 0.3–0.5 mm long.
