Information
rhizome oblique, cylindrical, with very slender, wiry, root-fibres; leaves of the basal rosette linear, firm in texture, 1/2 ft. long, 1/6– 1/4 in. broad; stem ancipitous throughout, 1/2–1 ft. long, flexuose, with 2–3 reduced leaves; clusters few, arranged in a lax simple spike, each subtended by a large lanceolate-navicular bract of firm texture; spathe-valves quite hidden by the bract; perianth-limb bright blue, 1/2 in. long; capsule cylindrical-trigonous, torulose, 1 in. long, shortly peduncled. null
