Information
Caudex short, simple. Leaves densely rosulate, ensiform, deep green, often spotted when young, 1 1/2–2 ft. long, 3–4 in. broad low down; marginal teeth large, deltoid, tipped with brown. Peduncle branched, 1 1/2–2 ft. long; racemes dense, oblong, 3–4 in. long; lower pedicels 3/4–1 in. long; bracts small, ovate. Perianth yellow, 1 in. long; segments twice as long as the oblong tube. Stamens about as long as the perianth. Capsule oblong-trigonous, 1 in. long, obscurely stipitate.
