bulb small, ovoid; tunics membranous, not splitting into fibres at the tip; leaves about 4, linear, glabrous, erect, flaccid, 1–1 1/2 ft. long, 1/3– 1/2 in. broad low down; peduncle slender, 1–1 1/2 ft. long; raceme lax, many-flowered, 1/2 ft. long; pedicels spreading, cernuous at the tip; lower 1 1/2–2 in. long; bracts lanceolate-acuminate, 1–1 1/2 in. long; flowers inodorous; perianth 3/4–1 in. long, pale yellow, broadly banded with green; outer stamens sterile; style prismatic, longer than the ovary; stigma entire. null
