Information
Tree (2–)3–11 m high with smooth yellowish or whitish peeling bark; branchlets dark-brown, puberulous, internodes 5–12 cm long, often enlarged towards the apex. Prickles solitary or in threes, slightly hooked or straight. Leaves with a large flattened gland, 1.5–3 mm in diam., at the base of the 13–28 mm long petiole; pinnae 3–5 pairs; leaflets 6–9(–12) pairs, 9–23 x 4–7(–9) mm, puberulous on both sides. Flowers sessile in up to 13 cm long spikes. Calyx c. 2.5 mm long, with a dark stripe running up each lobe. Corolla c. 3.5 mm long, glabrous. Pods straight, dehiscent, 6–13 x 1.8–2.2 cm, brownish, transversely veined, densely puberulous.
