Information
Sparingly hairy. Stems erect, 3–4 in. long, slender, creeping at the base from bulbs 1/4 in. in diam. Flowers rather large for the genus. Otherwise as C. hirsuta .

Notes
The type specimens of C. parasitica are very complete, and show that the plant is not parasitic; its small bulbs were clustered in earth—probably in the fork of a tree.
