Information
twigs and petioles rusty-tomentose; pinnæ 5–6-jugate; leaflets 8–15-jugate, obliquely trapezoid-oblong, puberulous, becoming glabrate above, pale and pubescent beneath, the upper ones smaller. A tree 15–20 feet high. Petioles 5–6 inches long, with a large, oblong gland above the base and a small, round gland between the terminal pair. Leaflets 4–5 lines long; 2 1/2 lines wide. Peduncles axillary, and in a terminal corymbose-raceme, 2–3 inches long. Legumes 5 inches long, nearly an inch wide, obtuse, substipitate, flat, glabrous, many seeded.
Range
A native also of Senegambia.
