Information
Tree 10–18 m. high; branchlets pubescent. Leaves: stipules obliquely reniform, 1–3(–4) cm. long, 0.5–2 cm. wide, foliaceous, persistent; lamina oblong-elliptic to obovate-elliptic, (6–)11.5–25 cm. long, (2.3–)4.2–9.5 cm. wide, acuminate at apex, widely rounded to subcordate and slightly asymmetric at base. Axis of raceme ± 0.5–1 cm. long; pedicels glabrous, 6–10 mm. long (to 16 mm., fide Léonard). Sepals 6–7 mm. long. Petals 6–10 mm. long, 2–3 mm. wide. Ovary glabrous. Fig. 20/1–6, p. 121.
