Information
Shrub 8 ft. high (Barter). Upper leaves up to 6–8 by 2–3 in., closely dotted on the upper face; petiole 0– 1/2 in. long. Racemes 1–3, simple, pubescent; bracts small, caducous. Calyx 3/4–1 in. long. Corolla white; linear part of the tube 1–1 1/4 in. long; lobes soft with fine white hairs, no glands. Style articulated on the ovary. Capsule 1 1/4 in. long, 4-seeded, glabrous; stalk half the length of the capsule; seeds 1/4 in. in diam. smooth, glabrous.
