Information
Annual ± erect herb, 10–70 cm tall, glabrous or ± hirsute. Leaves alternate or lower ones sometimes opposite, linear to oblanceolate or elliptic, up to 15–85 x 3–20 mm, ± dentate. Inflorescence lax; pedicels up to 60 mm long, glabrous. Calyx-lobes 0.8–4.8 mm long. Corolla 4–7 mm long, deeply lobed. Ovary 2–3-celled, subinferior; style somewhat shorter than the corolla, with minute glands at the base of the lobes. Capsule 2–3-valved. Seeds almost smooth.
