Information
young twigs and leaves rufo-pubescent, older glabrous; stems terete, striate; leaves on long petioles, broadly cordato-reniform, very obtusely 5- angled, repando-dentate, three-nerved at base and penni-nerved, obtuse, coriaceous; stipules ovate; inflorescence thyrsoid, densely tomentose, the peduncles elongate, with several lateral and one terminal sub-capitate cymes; flowers woolly. Leaves 2 inches long, and 3 broad, truncate or concave at base, between cordate and reniform, sinuous and obscurely toothed, or in β. deeply lobed and cut nearly to the base. All the young parts and the inflorescence are covered with short, red-brown, woolly hairs.

SOUTH AFRICA In mountain ravines. Eastern side of Table Mountain, and in Uitenhage, E. & Z.! Drege, &c.
