Information
Root fusiform. Stem shrubby below, slender, twining, terete, pubescent upwards. Stipules ovate-lanceolate, tomentose. Leaflets ovate-oblong, slightly hastate, the lateral ones unequal-sided, and more deeply lobed on the lower side, clothed on both sides with grey tomentum. Peduncles exceeding the leaves, 1–4-flowered. Calyx campanulate, tomentose, with four lanceolate teeth equalling the tube. Corolla pale violet, standard glabrous. Young pods terete, very slender, silky.
