Information
Slender scapose herbs; scapes pubescent soon glabrescent, seldom lanate at the base. Leaves mostly less than 1 cm. wide, linear to narrowly oblanceolate, tapering-attenuate or acute at the apex, usually drying greenish-brown. Involucres up to c. 3 cm. wide; phyllaries ± narrowly tapering-acuminate at apex.
Habitat
Pyrophyte of dambos.
