Information
An erect robust perennial soft-stemmed undershrub, branched above, with crowded leaves and broadly turbinate flower-heads 3/4 in. across when open; florets blue- or reddish-purple; middle and inner involucral bracts densely whitish- or yellow-woolly except at the tips, which are deep purple.
