Information
Annual herb 0.6–1 m high. Stem branched, scabrid. Leaves opposite or upper ones alternate, elliptic to ovate, 3–10 x 0.6–5 cm, margins crenate‑serrate, apex acuminate; petiole to 2.5 cm long. Capitula terminal at the end of shoots or axillary; stalks of capitula up to 2.5 cm long. Phyllaries 2-seriate, 4–10 mm long. Ray florets white, tube c. 2 mm long, blade c. 1.2 mm long; disk florets white, c. 3.5 mm long. Achenes blackish, 4–6.6 mm long.
Range
S1 widespread in tropical Africa and Asia.

200–450 m.
