Names

Information
Perennials with short, often branched tubers producing one, rarely few smooth erect branches up to 0,2 m long with grey bark often with dark grey striations. Leaves linear-oblanceolate, 5-15(-25) x (3-)4-7(-9) mm, cuneate, usually obtuse, covered with crystal-like trichomes, green. Inflorescence a thyrse with 1-3 (-5) mono­chasia, each with 1-3 flowers, glandular-pu­bescent; peduncle (15-)30-50 mm long, pale purplish brown. Calyx 2-3,5 mm long, cov­ered with heart-shaped trichomes, green; lobes triangular-lanceolate, bluntly acute. Corolla glabrous or with few elongate tri­chomes outside; tube cylindrical to urn-shaped, 4-6 mm long, usually glabrous in­side, pale yellowish green often tinged pink; lobes 4-5,5 mm long, recurved, pale yellow­ish green to yellow. Anthers 1,2-1,5 mm long. Squamae transversely oblong to ob­long, 0,8-1,1 x 0,5-1,2 mm, usually slightly emarginate, fleshy, yellow.
