Information
Perennial; culms 20–60 cm. long, wiry, trailing or geniculately ascending, the internodes longer than the leaf-sheaths. Leaf-blades lanceolate to narrowly lanceolate, 1–4 cm. long, 2–6 mm. wide, ± reflexed. Panicle lanceolate to ovate, 5–10 cm. long. Spikelets 3.5–5 mm. long, minutely pubescent, sometimes also setose with stiff tubercle-based hairs; upper lemma 2–2.5 mm. long, pubescent, the lateral tufts short and small; central awn 6–12 mm. long, the laterals 1.5–3.5 mm. long.
