Information
Very like T. brevipes, from which it differs in having the leaf blades more shallowly and widely cordate at the base, and ± glabrous apart from the stinging hairs.
Habitat
Floodplain thickets and termitaria in floodplain grassland, also on rocky outcrops and pan margins in mopane woodland
Range
Ivory Coast eastwards to Ethiopia and south to Angola, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique

Notes
Fanshawe 5595 (cited above) and Cameron 1 (K) from Namasi, Malawi, are somewhat intermediate between this and T. micromeres, whilst the one Botswana specimen seen (Brown 8682) seems to fall between the 3 species T. okanyua, T. brevipes and T. benthamii, but is perhaps closer to the latter than the others.
