Information
Shrub, 8–15 ft. high; young parts and inflorescence densely and minutely pubescent. Leaves up to 7 by 3 in. (usually half this size), elliptic or obovate, shortly acuminate, obtuse, when mature glabrous, shining; petiole 1/4–1 in. long. Racemes 9 by 3/4 in., many (often 50-) flowered; pedicels 1/20– 1/8 in. long; bracts 1/16 in. long, lanceolate. Corolla pubescent without, white or with red-purple marks.
