Information
an erect undershrub, a few inches up to 1 1/4 ft. high or more, usually much branched; branches very slender, 4-angled, rather densely leafy, grey-puberulous; leaves deeply 3-fid, usually 3/4–1 in. long, sometimes up to 2 in. long or more, thinly pubescent above, grey-puberulous or -tomentose beneath; lobes linear or linear-oblong, 2–9 lin. long, usually 1/2–1 (sometimes up to 1 3/4) lin. broad, obtuse, revolute at the margin, usually entire, sometimes (especially the median lobe) more or less 3-fid; flowers axillary, solitary or sometimes 2 or more on the same peduncle; peduncle 1 1/2–4 lin. long, bearing below the middle a pair of small bracteoles; calyx campanulate, 2–2 1/2 lin. long, thinly grey-puberulous; teeth linear-triangular or lanceolate, 1 1/4–1 1/2 lin. long, 1/3– 1/2 lin. broad at the base, acuminate; corolla white, about 2 lin. long; tube 3/4–1 lin. long; lobes elliptic or elliptic-oblong, rounded, 1–1 3/4 lin. long. null
