Information
Fragrant subshrub or shrublet, 0.3–0.4 m tall; stems erect or ascending from a woody base, shortly and densely canescent with spreading to recurved hairs. Leaves subsessile, mostly lobed with a narrowly lanceolate main lobe and with 2(–4) shorter lateral lobes, occasionally narrowly lanceolate to linear, up to 25–40 × 12–20 mm in outline, margin revolute, entire (except for the lobes), shortly and rather densely canescent on both sides. Inflorescence raceme-like, ± lax; bracts ± as long as the flowers, lower ones similar to the leaves, upper ones usually entire and linear; pedicels 3–7 mm long. Calyx campanulate at anthesis and widely cup-shaped in fruit, 5–9 mm long; lobes subequal, narrowly triangular, apiculate, c. 2.5–6 mm long. Corolla 10–15 mm long, white to pale greenish yellow with purple or magenta marks; tube less than 1 mm long; lip 9–14 × 5.5–8 mm. Nutlets 2.5–3 × 1.5–1.8 mm, shallowly reticulate, shortly and densely canescent.
