Information
Wiry annual up to 25 cm high. Inflorescence 1–3.5 cm long, white-plumose. Glumes 10–17 mm long, straight, rigid, villously plumose below; lemma 2–2.5 mm long, tipped with an awn 3–4.5 mm long.
