Information
Branches smooth or obsoletely scabrous. Upper leaves broadly elliptical or obovate-elliptical, rounded or cuneate to the petiole below, rounded obtuse or obtusely pointed at the apex, entire or obscurely denticulate, glabrous glabrescent or with appressed hairs beneath, smooth or slightly scabrid, 3–6 in. long, 1 1/2–3 1/2 in. broad. Petiole 4–10 lines, often slightly winged, glabrous or ciliate. Panicles glabrous or with loose or appressed deciduous hairs. Flowers 4–8 lines diam. Sepals glabrous thinly hairy or puberulous outside, glabrous usually within. Carpels glabrous or nearly so.
