Information
Annual or short-lived perennial, up to 80 cm tall. Leaf-rhachis, including a petiole of c. 2 mm, up to 1 cm long. Leaflets 3–7, usually 5, cuneate-oblanceolate, up to 22(–50) x 7(–13) mm, glabrous above, silvery beneath. Flowers red, 1–3 together in the leaf-axils. Calyx silvery, 5–6 mm long with triangular-acuminate lobes, 3–4 mm long. Standard fulvous-silvery, c. 6 mm long. Style glabrous, not twisted, c. 2 mm long. Pod somewhat upcurved towards the tip, 4–4.5 x 0.4 cm, pubescent, brownish on the sutures. Seeds 7–8, 3–4 x 2–2.5 mm.
