Notes
The queried synonyms are less certainly placed than the rest because the characters of the twigs of their type specimens show affinity with S. dysophylla subsp. engleri; this may be the result of hybridity. A few other specimens also show this, of which may be cited Gillman 1391 from Tanganyika, Lindi District, Njonga [Ngongo on EA sheet].
