Information
Stem 1–2 ft. long. Leaves (blade) 2–2 1/2 by 1 in., elliptic or ovate, rounded at the base, hairy on both surfaces; margin subentire; nerves 8–10 pairs; petiole 1/2–2 in. long. Peduncles 3–4 in. long, 7–13-flowered, with many gland-tipped hairs; pedicels 1/3 in. long, glandular-hairy; bracts at the divisions 1/16 in. long. Calyx 1/8 in. long; lobes oblong, subacute, gland-tipped, and with many gland-tipped hairs. Corolla 2/3– 3/4 in. long, blue; tube 2/5 in. long, subcylindric; lobes of the limb very unequal. Filaments hardly dilated, glandular near the top. Ovary hairy; style glabrous. Capsule 2 in. long.
