Information
stem simple up to 18 ft. high, as thick as a man's arm (Thunberg); leaves oblong or ovate, obtuse, deltoid or rounded at the base, glabrous, shining green, 3–4 ft. long, 1 1/2–2 ft. wide; petiole 5–6 ft. long; peduncle shorter than the petiole; spathe claret-coloured, 8–12 in. long; sepals lanceolate, white, 5–6 in. long; petals white, 2 lower with blades 3 in. long and small rounded auricles, basal part 1 1/2 in. long, tapering upwards; upper petal ovate, 1 in. long; filaments 1 1/2 in. long; anthers 3 in. long; style-arms 1 1/2–2 in. long. null
