Information
Annual herb, the stems decumbent or erect; stems often reddish, glabrous. Leaves broadly ovate to deltate, 5–11 cm long, 4–8 cm wide, base truncate or with a short attenuate part, margins dentate, apex acute, usually glabrous. Capitula solitary, elongated-conical, discoid, 10–24 mm long, 11–17 mm in diameter; phyllaries in 3 series, 5–7 mm long. Disc florets many, yellow to orange, 2.7–3.3 mm long. Achenes black, 2–2.5 mm long, ciliate; pappus of 2 bristles 0.3–1.5 mm long.
