Information
An annual pubescent much-branched herb. Stem erect or procumbent, 1–2 ft. high. Leaves ovate or cordate, unequal at the base, from nearly entire to coarsely toothed, densely villous, sometimes glabrescent, about 2 in. long. Flowers pendulous; pedicels 3–5 lin. long. Calyx in flower campanulate, in fruit ovoid-acuminate, retuse at the base; lobes long-acuminate from a triangular base. Corolla dull yellow spotted with purplish-brown at the base, not exceeding 1/2 in. in diam. Anthers violet.
