Information
Petioles (1-)1.5–2.3 cm. long. Leaf-lamina elliptic to elliptic-oblong, mostly 9–21.5 cm. long and 4–7.5 cm. wide, margins not or sometimes inrolled, lower surface with dense ferrugineous pubescence, persisting in older leaves but sometimes becoming greyish-brown in colour; lateral nerves 13–20, usually 14–18 on each side. Pedicels and calyces with dense ferrugineous or greyish-brown ± felted indumentum. Fig. 4/2, 6–8.
Range
DISTR. U1–3; K2, 3, 5 extreme east of Congo Republic, Rwanda Republic and SW. Ethiopia; not yet recorded from the Sudan side of the Imatong Mts., where it almost certainly occurs
