Geedcad, harbo, jambacaad, murash, raambi, sufur cad, wancad, xaaba cad, yacay. Much-branched, (0.2–)0.3–1.2(–1.8) m, young branchlets densely yellowish- or whitish-tomentose with short hairs stellate-branched in several planes. Leaves round to ovate or broadly elliptic, blade 1.2–6.5 x 0.7–5 cm, ± cuneate to subtruncate with a 0.2–1.5 cm petiole, indumentum similar to that of the petioles or later sparser and the leaves more greenish. Inflorescences 1.5–13 x 1.5–2.25 cm, dense, the 0.7–3 cm peduncle and axis also stellate-tomentose; lateral cymes mostly with 4–16 flowers. Bracteoles deltoid-ovate to ovate, acuminate, 4–7 mm, at first sparsely tomentose but soon shining and glabrescent except for long barbellate hairs along the excurrent midrib and/or at the base and apex. Tepals linear, 6–10 mm, the inner 3 slightly shorter, all green-vittate centrally with hyaline margins and a prominent excurrent midrib with 1–2 lateral nerves on each side, densely and longly pilose along the vitta. Style 2–3.5 mm. Capsule 2 mm, ovoid, truncate with a fine transverse apical ridge.
