Information
Plant erect, 60–240 cm high. Leaves decurrent onto a comparatively wide, winged, petioloid base, 10–26 cm long, 4–13 cm wide. Capitula 1–10; inflorescence with bracts usually comparatively wide and conspicuous; phyllaries usually 13, rarely 8 or 14, 15–31 mm long. Fig. 141 (page 695).
