Notes
USES. None recorded on specimens from our area CONSERVATION Protected in the National Park; least concern (LC) Much of the variation in leaf morphology of D. adnivalis subsp. adnivalis was shown by Mabberley (1973) to intergrade, and the early profusion of names was a result of insufficient collecting. Although intermediates between var. adnivalis and var. petiolatus can be found, var. adnivalis is much more common and var. petiolatus, where it does grow, forms relatively pure stands or intermingles with var. adnivalis with limited intergradation. Hence, var. petiolatus is retained for those plants that clearly possess a pseudo-petiole.
